Who We Are
Our mission is to bridge Latin America with Australia's mining industry and extend our reach to global markets. Whether it's delivering oversized equipment, managing the full supply chain of a remote energy project, or navigating complex international trade lanes, Balmoral is the partner that gets it done.
Where we came from
Founded in 2011 in Santiago, Chile by industry veteran Christian Garces, Balmoral was built on over 30 years of hands-on experience in global logistics and freight forwarding. From general cargo to complex international shipments, Christian's expertise shaped a company grounded in reliability, adaptability, client-focused service and most importantly, trust.
In 2022, Balmoral expanded to Brisbane, Australia, marking a new chapter in our journey. With a redefined vision, we now specialise in project cargo, and end-to-end logistics solutions for the mining and energy sectors, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy and heavy machinery.
What we won't do
We don't quote work outside the AUS↔LATAM corridor unless we know we can execute it as well as our home lanes. We don't compete on lowest rate for commodity FCL where a generalist forwarder will serve you better. We don't promise transit times we haven't verified with the carrier.
